A flip-knife styled… thumb. It has a dedicated screw hole integrated in the tip of the “thumb” that fits a touchscreen pen tip. The “thumb” is created with flexibility and lightness in mind, and there are octagonal holes to ensure strength for long periods of use. Ideal for use in elevators, PIN code entry, ATM machines, and much more. A safe way to keep on doing your daily tasks in this troubled time.

This design brings the popular acoustic smartphone speaker to your 3D printer. Printable without supports from the ground up, depending on the model of your 3D printer and the material of your filament (though printing it with supports could give it unique acoustic properties). Enjoy your favourite tunes without investing in an expensive bluetooth speaker.

As the summer months are fast approaching, your favourite drink may take less and less time to get to room temperature and lose its taste. Help, though, is at hand! Simply pour water through the top hole, freeze for a few hours, and you have yourself a cooling coaster! The bottom and sides are designed to maximise efficiency and make sure that the cooling effect is restricted to the top surface. The design effectively acts as a thermos with the lid off, so that the cooling effect can quickly and tastefully cool your favourite drink. Enjoy!

The (accessible) Protection Project

TaPP was a project aimed at creating widely available solutions to COVID-19 related issues such as adequate protection, a safe supply of food, no-contact daily interactions, etc. The ideas submitted by the community were collected and used to research and design the solutions to these problems.
